San Diego’s favorite Italian family will ring in the New Year on Monday, December 31 at three different restaurants:
The wine will be flowing at Zia’s Bistro in Little Italy with food and drink specials including a selection of the restaurant’s best dishes served throughout 2012. Dance the night away with contemporary music from pianist and saxophonist Rick Ross. (Pricing will vary.)
As with the successful "A Modo Mio Week," Joe Busalacchi will again set aside his regular menu to do things “a modo mio” or “my way” for a special New Year’s Eve dinner service at Busalacchi’s A Modo Mio in Hillcrest. Guests will choose chicken, red meat, fish or vegetarian fare for the main course and Joe will take care of the rest – a surprise meal for the adventurous diner. (One glass of champagne included; $59 for a five-course meal, $49 for a four-course meal.)
Enjoy the culture and authentic cuisine of Little Italy without leaving Chula Vista at Via Lago Trattoria’s New Year’s Eve celebration. Guests will enjoy a special menu of the best dishes from 2012. Pianist David Owen and vocalists Damion Willis and Kimberly Jackson will provide jazz, Latin and R&B-infused tunes until the DJ takes over to get the party started at 10:30 p.m. Noisemakers and a complimentary glass of champagne will be provided to welcome 2013. (Pricing will vary.)
