Known for their dog-friendly atmosphere, including a unique doggie menu, the Wine Pub is opening their doors to a new breed of event every Sunday in October.
Beginning on October 7th from 5 to 6 PM, the Wine Pub will be fetching for the best pooches in a special Best of Show competition, where guests are allowed to enter one dog in one category to compete for either the best hairstyle, the dog that looks most like their owner, best trick, or best outfit.
A panel of exceptional judges will then pick a semi-finalist for each category on October 7th, 14th, and 21st. The Best of Show contest will conclude on Sunday, October 28th for the finals, where one hound will reign supreme in each category, with barking rights of “Best of Show.”
Along with a specialty canine menu, the Wine Pub puts money where its mouth is with Woofer Wednesdays by donating 10% of sales every Woofer Wednesday to San Diego pet adoption associations. The owners are also huge advocates and supporters of local animal organizations year-round.
