Another Great Meal at 2Good2B!

There's nothing like a great meal to start out a perfect Saturday, and when the meal is healthy to boot, that's just fabulous! After such a great meal this spring, I was anxious to return to 2Good2B for more of their gluten-free goodies! I can never get over their creativity and knowledge of baking to consistently make delicious baked goods that are gluten-free. The food is delicious above all, but that it is healthy is even better!

We started out our meal with a pumpkin spice latte and a ginger lemonade. 2Good2B has a terrific coffee bar that specializes in interesting coffee and tea concoctions.  The ginger lemonade was incredible! I loved the kick of ginger against the sweet lemonade!

I couldn't tear my eyes away from the scrumptious sweets, but I knew that lunch would be awesome!

We started off with the strawberry and arugula salad with homemade balsamic dressing! The strawberries were so fresh and delicious, and I adore this dressing. I love balsamic vinegar, and this had the perfect ratio of mustard, oil, and vinegar. Delicious!

And a little house salad with the same yummy dressing!

Then it was time for the wonderful vegetarian pizza! This was one of the best pizzas that I've had in my life. The vegetables are slow roasted with a little olive oil, then baked on top of the pizza. The zucchini and squash were wonderfully crisp, but not raw. I loved the texture with the thin crust of the pizza. The sauce is homemade and vibrant. I would order this pizza again and again.

And baked ziti that's gluten free! Look at that cheesy yumminess! The cheese was gooey and plentiful, and the sauce was perfection!

Finally, it was time for dessert! Those cupcakes just looked too good to pass up, and we decided to split a lemon cupcake and some of the "Almond Joy" minis.

Check out the lemon curd! This cupcake was so perfect with the thick frosting and lemony flavor. Again, I just thought that it was a great cupcake, not a great gluten-free cupcake! One of the best that I've had!

And the Almond Joys...wow! The cake was a dense chocolate, with light frosting and coconut. Yep, tasted like an Almond Joy, but so much better, because it was a cupcake!!!

I can't wait to return!!!
