The 14th Annual Harvest for Hope Fundraiser was held on October 1st at the beautiful Central location of the San Diego Public Library. The event was absolutely wonderful, moving, and lovely.
The event benefited the Emilio Nares Foundation, a generous and compassionate organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with cancer and their families. ENF supports children and their families, providing rides to their treatments with their flagship "Ride with Emilio" program, the Loving Tabs Healing Shirts, enabling dignity to children when being treated, snack bags, family resource center, and classes for parents.
These hard-working families have dedicated their lives to helping others that suffer as they have. The Harvest for Hope Fundraiser is the yearly event to hold a silent auction and live auction to raise money to fund these programs. This year was a wonderful event, with food provided by Brooklyn Girl, Café Chloe, Legal Restaurants, AR Valentien, The Lodge at Torrey Pines, Pamplemousse Grille, Carnitas Snack Shack, Little Lion Café, Morton’s Steakhouse, Solare, Sweet Cheeks Baking Co., Waypoint Public, Crust Pizzeria, and Harry’s Coffee Shop, as well as beverages by Snake Oil Cocktail Company.
