Pappalecco, a local Tuscan coffee, pastry and dining destination, will have five locations throughout the San Diego area by the end of 2016. Pappalecco is known for its unique Tuscan-style cuisine, authentic Italian experience and friendly guest service. The stores, or “homes” as the brother-owner duo like to call it, are located in Little Italy, Hillcrest, Kensington and Cardiff by the Sea, with Del Mar Highlands opening in mid-December. The extensive menu includes breakfast, organic coffee, paninis, pizza, salads, gelato, homemade pastries, wine and beer, and more.
All Pappalecco menu items including its bread, pastries and gelato are made locally at its production kitchen in Point Loma. Pappalecco’s food items are all made with five simple ingredients imported from Tuscany to stick to the culinary principles that emphasize freshness, quality and simplicity of the Tuscan lifestyle.
