Kids Free October is back! All month long, children 12 and under can enjoy free admission to 43 museums across San Diego County. To celebrate, you’ll want to save the date for the Kids Free in October kick-off event that is just as exciting, Museum Mash Up!
On Sunday, October 1 from 10 AM to 1 PM, more than 10 museums will be on site offering hands-on activities, entertainment, and more at The New Children’s Museum Park. The day will feature fun for the whole family, including performances by the San Diego Symphony, the Water Conservation Garden's Ms. Smartyplants, Living Coast’s Animal Encounter and a drum circle from the Museum of Making Music. Not to mention, there will be Kids Free October coupons at the event that you can use to go explore The New Children’s Museum while you are there. A win, win!
Kids Free in October is presented by ScholarShare, California’s 529 College Savings Plan, and sponsored by Mission Federal Credit Union. Free admission is available for up to two kids per adult ticket purchase. To participate, download the Kids Free in October coupon. Families can also pick up a printed coupon at any of Mission Federal Credit Union’s branch locations throughout San Diego County starting on September 27.
