Del Taco is always adding and improving its menu options, with healthy items, and items that are in customer demand. This review will cover the latter, namely, the steak offerings that are new at Del Taco.
There are four new offerings featuring carne asada, or marinated and grilled steak. The new menu additions include:
I had a chance to try the Epic Carne Asada burrito, as well as another customer favorite, the California burrito, which is a taco shop classic.
Both burritos were excellent, and very good quality, particularly for a fast food experience. The vegetables are freshly cut, and the effort is apparent in the taste. The flavor of the carne asada was delicious, filled with rice, pico de gallo, and guacamole.
The California burrito was the classic recipe, steak, cheese, guacamole, tomatoes, and of course, french fries.
Both burritos are very filling, and great for a quick lunch. The other carne asada items are equally interesting, particularly the carne asada fries, which I'm certain will be a favorite.

Though I typically love the hole in the wall shops for my California burritos and carne asada fries. I'll definitely have to try this after your recommendation!
