A Real-Life Gingerbread House!

Queenstown Public House, a New Zealand-inspired restaurant and bar located in San Diego’s Little Italy, will transform the exterior of its restaurant into a charming, real-life gingerbread house with fluffy white icing around the windows and dazzle the well-known and comforting venue with gumdrops, M&M’s, lights, candy canes and more. The interior will be converted into a picturesque Christmas wonderland to bring holiday cheer to San Diego. In addition to the gingerbread house dreamland transformation, Queenstown Public House will host a Gingerbread House contest on Wednesday, December 9.

Queenstown Public House will provide a gingerbread house kit in exchange for a donated, unwrapped gift for New Alternative’s Little Italy Toy Drive at the Gingerbread House contest on December 9. The contest will be split up into two timeframes— 3-7 pm for kids and 7-10 pm for the kids-at-heart. The winner of the kid’s contest will win tickets to Legoland and the adult winner will take home a Queenstown Public House gift basket.

Queenstown Public House will also give every child a gingerbread man cookie kit to carry on the holiday spirit while dining in a life-sized gingerbread house for the whole month of December.
