National French Fry Day!

I'm working on an SDCC wrap up, but until then, celebrate French Fry Day tomorrow at these great places!

At the heart of the hip and popular Hillcrest neighborhood, head to the lively and rustic Brazen BBQ for their warm and crispy Brazen Fries. Add these fries to your favorite Brazen items such as The Smokehouse Burger or award-winning ribs? No need to dip these fries in ketchup when you can dip them in Brazen’s home-made B.R.A.G. BBQ sauce.

Those staying or strolling through the Gaslamp district are in luck!  Open 24/7, Brian’s 24 dishes up a heap of protein-packed Chili Cheese Fries, topped with chili, cheese, onions, and sour cream perfect after a late-night or to split with friends during the day.  Or order a San Diego staple, Carne Asada fries, to celebrate French Fries Day.

Headed to the beach on July 13? Find a seat at PB’s The Duck Dive for their Duck Fat Fries served with home-made dipping sauces—roasted tomato aioli, garlic aioli, and Duck Dive ketchup. Spice up these fries by ordering them seasoned with garlic and parmesan or load them up with house-made beef meatloaf, creamy cheese sauce, and red and green peppers.

Down the street in PB, Tavern’s menu features the crispy P.B. Plank Fries. Kennebec potatoes are topped with a Serrano beer-cheese sauce, sour cream, spicy guacamole, and salsa for a San Diego twist on loaded fries.  Add braised short ribs or carnitas for some added protein.

No matter if you’re in the Gaslamp or up in Encinitas, enjoy Union Kitchen & Tap’s comforting Poutine. What better way to get your French fry fix than with Kennebec fries smothered with cheddar curds, bacon, and southern sausage gravy?
