The Sip List - Summer Cocktails

I will not be able to partake of any of these tasty creations, but I wanted to share some of the best cocktails in town for the summer!

The Westgate Hotel: San Diego’s own little slice of The Versailles Palace has
introduced three new “Tipsy Tea” cocktails in conjunction with their Sunset Jazz series. The tea-based cocktails include peach tea bourbon infusion The Versailles, A Royal Affair featuring cinnamon tea tequilaand the classic gin and chamomile brew Palace Punch. All cocktails are available in the lobby or during the Sunset Jazz concerts every Thursday on the rooftop. Recipes and high-res images available on request.

Bertrand at Mister A’s: Mister A’s is starting off the summer with a “skinny” cocktail menu to keep patrons cool and satisfied even on the hottest of summer days. The menu is perfect for guests seeking out the same full-flavor taste minus the calories. The lineup includes fresh fruit Bellinis, infused with strawberry-hibiscus or pink guava, the clove-spikedBlood Orange Sparkler with Prosecco and blood orange bitters and the Southern Dove, made with tequila, agave nectar and grapefruit juice.

ALTITUDE Sky Lounge at the Marriott Gaslamp: There’s more than one way to get your summer baseball fix. Watch the Padres from 22-stories up at ALTITUDE Sky Lounge and enjoy $5 Domestic Drafts / $6 Premium Well Cocktails daily from 5-7 p.m. and all-day on Sunday. This summer, guests can escape the heat with one of ALTITUDE’s  new summer cocktails, which include the Mango Passion Martini (pictured) mixed with Belvedere Mango Passion, Domain de Canton Ginger Liqueur, Fresh Lime Juice & Cranberry or the Kentucky Buck -with Bulleit Bourbon, Fresh Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, Ginger Beer & Strawberries. High-res images are available.

Mia Francesca: Cool your heels after the fair with a DiSotto Manhattan at Mia Francesca. This refreshing mix of Templeton Rye, Sweet Vermouth, Maraschino cherries and orange peel is the best way to relax al fresco on the restaurant’s spacious patio.
