IPA Day!

A collective “cheers” is in order this Thursday, August 1 for IPA Day. Thirsty Thursday’s shining star is the India Pale Ale, which varies in taste from coast-to-coast. American IPAs differ from English IPAs in color and finish. The first-ever Double IPA, also called an Imperial IPA, originated up the road at a Temecula-area brewery. According to online resource, DrinkWiththeWench.com, “An IPA represents the pinnacle of brewing innovation because it includes a broad spectrum of brands, subcategories and regional flavor variations.” According to the site, #IPAday generated more than 10 million impressions on Twitter during last year’s celebrations.
